Please note that effective October 1, 2006, students will no longer be cancelled for non-
payment. Therefore, if you pre-register and decide not to attend for a given semester,
you need to formally withdraw from SIUC. Failure to do so will result in your receiving
failing grades and you will be liable for charges incurred. This policy change can be
found here. In addition, if you have a past due balance of more than $500, you will not
be allowed to register for a future semester or to add classes for the current semester.

May 2008 graduation.

Intersession began Monday, May 12. Summer Session begins Monday, June 9. The 2008-2009

The University will be closed for holidays on Friday, July 4.

Students who register for Fall classes prior to July 12, 2008 will be mailed a
Bursar bill the week of July 13. Payment of the minimum amount noted on that bill (or
the application of financial aid to cover the amount) is due by Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008.

Undergraduates who were awarded INC grades for Summer 2007 coursework have until Friday,
August 1 to complete the coursework and have a grade change submitted by the instructor(s)
to this Office. Failure to complete the coursework and have a grade change submitted will
result in the INC grade being automatically changed to an F grade the week of August 3.

The Summer 2008 final exams are scheduled for Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1.

The Summer 2008 commencement ceremonies will be held Saturday, August 2. There will be
one combined ceremony held according to this schedule.

Most Summer 2008 grades will be posted on SalukiNet by Thursday, August 7, though some
off-campus course grades will not be posted until later in the month.
