1 That is, what will be your Level and/or Classification at the start of the noted term, under the assumption that you will successfully earn credit for the SIU classes that you are currently enrolled in? (The registration system will make that positive assumption for any currently-ungraded class as it calculates the answer to this question in order to determine when you may first register in the above schedule.)
2 For Eligible Last Names (when split up), their order will be changed with each new advance registration period to allow for fairness over time. (Once the Beginning Time for your Last Name occurs, you will be allowed to register at any time after that if you do not have any holds that would stop registration.)
3 This includes those considered as Nondeclared Graduate students.
4 This includes those considered as Unclassified Undergraduate students.
What do I need to do to get registered?
Undergraduate, Graduate, and Law students must self-register through the SalukiNet portal, logging into SalukiNet with their Network ID. (Medical students will be registered by staff in the School of Medicine.)
Many students who self-register – particularly most undergraduates – will need to first see their academic advisor in order to obtain a Registration User Number (RUN). For students who are required to have a RUN, it will be prompted for when you attempt to self-register. This RUN is unique to each student and to each term. If you have questions about your RUN or forget it, please ask your advisor.
Once most undergraduates successfully register for a term for the first time, if they return on a subsequent day to do registration changes for that term, they should no longer need to use a RUN for that term.
Resources to help with registration are here. The Schedule of Classes is here.
How will I be billed for my registration?
Students who register for Summer classes prior to mid-May will have their Bursar E-bill available within SalukiNet after May 15. Payment of the full amount noted on that E-bill (or of the installment amount if you are signed up for the installment payment plan) – or the application of financial aid to cover the amount – will be due by June 10. Students who do not register for Summer classes until after mid-May will be able to view their E-bill within SalukiNet after the 15th of the following month.
Students who register for Fall classes prior to mid-July will have their Bursar E-bill available within SalukiNet after July 15. Payment of the full amount noted on that E-bill (or of the installment amount if you are signed up for the installment payment plan) – or the application of financial aid to cover the amount – will be due by August 10. Students who do not register for Fall classes until after mid-July will be able to view their E-bill within SalukiNet after the 15th of the following month.
Students who register for Spring classes prior to mid-December will have their Bursar E-bill available within SalukiNet after December 15. Payment of the full amount noted on that E-bill (or of the installment amount if you are signed up for the installment payment plan) – or the application of financial aid to cover the amount – will be due by January 10. Students who do not register for Spring classes until after mid-December will be able to view their E-bill within SalukiNet after the 15th of the following month.
The Bursar's Office does not mail paper bills for registered students, so registered students need to check their E-bills in SalukiNet.
