Ordering Your Official SIU Transcripts

SIU Carbondale transcripts include a comprehensive record of a student’s undergraduate and/or graduate courses taken at the university. Beginning the fifth week of the term, transcripts will also show current courses as "in-progress." If you need an official transcript for yourself, an employer, or another school, you can order it using the link below.

Online

  • In-Person Pickup: $7.95
  • 1st Class Mailed: $10.45
  • Electronic delivery (PDF): $12.95
  • FedEx Expedited Delivery: $35 to $55 (dependent on delivery location)
  • Sales tax may apply in some areas

  • Download and complete the order form
  • Mail completed form and check or money order
  • Cost: $5 per transcript
  • Mailed to recipient via 1st Class Mail

Please note: You cannot order transcripts using e-mail, fax, or the phone.

  • Processing Time

    Electronic deliveries (pdf) are normally e-mailed within minutes of your completed order. Students who attended prior to Fall 1990 will require additional processing time.

    Transcripts mailed out via 1st class mail will typically leave our office within 2 to 10 business days from receipt of your order. 

    Requests for hardcopy transcripts and for those who attended prior to Fall 1990 are not processed when the University is closed.

  • Receiving Your Transcript

    When ordering online, you'll have the option to choose your preferred delivery option.

    If you order your transcript in person or by mail, we can send it in the mail to you or a third party, you can pick it up in person, or you can authorize someone to pick it up for you.

    To authorize a pick up, complete the section of either form indicating whether you or someone else will be picking up your transcripts. The person picking up your transcript is required to bring a photo ID.
