Password Rules for Certain SIU Computer Systems

The Network ID password is needed by faculty, staff, and students for logging into most campus computing resources, including SalukiNet, e-mail, and the campus network.  This password is dealt with in the Network ID Management System.  Requirements for this password, as well as instructions on how to change/reset/recover it, are noted here.

The Human Resources Self-Service (HRSS) password is needed by employees and student workers to view their payslips.  Requirements for this password are described here.  You can reset this password by going to the HRSS login page and clicking on the "Login Assistance" link (instead of logging in).

The Banner password is needed by certain faculty and staff for logging into only a particular Banner Student Information System component such as e~Print.  You can change this password from within Banner Admin Pages, but if you forget this password, you can reset it by going to this page.

Note:  Other Banner systems such as Admin Pages, the Argos reporting system, the Bolt-on's, and AppWorx use the Network ID password rather than the Banner password.
